Place of Birth. Born April 20, 1973 in Russia.
Professional activity. He began his service in the internal affairs bodies in 1994 from the position of an operative of the criminal investigation department of the Lenin regional department of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the city of Sevastopol. Work in the criminal investigation department, devoted all the next 20 years. He rose from an operative to the deputy head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
During this period, he held leading positions in the Internal Affairs Directorate of Sevastopol, and in March 2014 was appointed head of the department for the organization of solving crimes against property and search work of the Criminal Investigation Department, deputy head of the Department. Left Crimea after its occupation by Russian troops.
On November 9, 2014, by order of the Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, he was appointed head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Donetsk region.
On November 6, 2015, by order of the head of the National Police of Ukraine Khatia Dekanoidze, in agreement with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, he was appointed head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region. Abroskin was awarded the special rank of police general of the third rank.
On March 10, 2017, he was appointed Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine.
On July 19, 2017, he was appointed First Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine on the proposal of the head of the National Police Serhiy Knyazev.
September 12, 2019 dismissed from his postdeputy head of the National Police of Ukraine.
In October 2019, Vyacheslav Abroskin was appointed rector of the Odessa University of Internal Affairs.
Awards. Awarded the Order For Courage, III Art. (August 21, 2014) – for personal courage and heroism shown in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, highly professional performance of official duties.
