Irina Andreevna Vereshchuk – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine. Mayor of Rava-Ruska (2010-2015). People’s Deputy of Ukraine from the Servant of the People party in the 2019 parliamentary elections, No. 29 on the list, ex-representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Place of Birth. Education. She was born on November 30, 1979 in Rava-Ruska, Zholkovsky district, Lviv region.
From 1997 to 2002 studied at the Military Institute at the National University of Lviv Polytechnic, majoring in International Information.
In 2002-2006 studied at the Faculty of Law of the Lviv National University. I. Franko, majoring in jurisprudence.
Since 2011 – postgraduate studies at the Lviv Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.
On November 11, 2015 she defended her dissertation on the topic: “Organizational and legal mechanism for improving the administrative-territorial structure of Ukraine” (following the example of reforms in Poland) and received a PhD in public administration.
In 2015-2016 – Fellow of the program Lane Kirkland of the Polish American Freedom Foundation.
In July 2016 she received a diploma from the Regional School of Public Administration (Krajowa Szkoła Administracji Publicznej (KSAP).
Career. Irina Vereshchuk, after graduating from the military institute, served in officer positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 5 years.
From May 2007 to June 2008 – Lawyer of the Rava-Ruska City Council.
From June to October 2010 – Deputy Chairman of the Zhovkovsky Regional State Administration for humanitarian issues and foreign policy.
From 2010 to 2015 – Mayor of the city of Rava-Ruska, Zhovkovsky district, Lviv region.

Political activity. In the 2019 parliamentary elections, Irina Vereshchuk was elected to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 9th convocation on the list of the Servant of the People party, No. 29 on the list.
Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Chairman of the Subcommittee on State Security and Defense.
On September 4, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Irina Vereshchuk as a government representative in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. November 15, 2019 Irina Vereshchuk resigned from office representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada.
