Vera Viktorovna Galushka (Ukrainian Vira Viktorivna Galushka; better known under the pseudonym Vera Brezhneva) – Ukrainian pop singer, actress, television presenter, former member of the pop group “VIA Gra“(2003-2007).
Childhood and youth. She was born on February 3, 1982 in Dneprodzerzhinsk, Dnepropetrovsk region. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a pathologist. She assures that she had not previously stood out for her bright appearance against the background of other girls and girls. On the contrary, she was inconspicuous, she wore glasses.
Education. After school, I went to courses for drivers and assistant secretaries, studied English with a tutor. She dreamed of entering the law school, but at the last moment she became a part-time student of the Dnepropetrovsk Institute of Railway Engineers (majoring in economics).
Career. From 2003 to 2007 – a member of the “golden composition” of the famous pop trio “VIA Gra”. After the appearance of Vera, the first album of the band “Attempt number 5” was immediately rewritten “for her”. And the new clip “Do not leave me, my love!” with the participation of Vera Brezhneva took leading places in the charts of the CIS. By the way, the pseudonym “Brezhnev” was invented by the producer of the group: Leonid Brezhnev, General Secretary of the CPSU, was born in her native Dneprodzerzhinsk.
After leaving the group, she became the host of the Magic of Ten program on Channel One (Russia).
In May 2008, a solo video for the song “I don’t play” was released.. On October 27, 2008, the 2nd single “Nirvana” was released. Also in 2008, Vera took part in the show “Ice Age-2“.
In 2008, Vera Brezhneva starred in romantic comedy “Sex and the City“. The film premiered on March 5, 2009. For the film, Vera recorded the soundtrack “Love in the Big City” and shot her third video on it.. After the film’s releaseSex and the City“Vera Starred in Sequel -“Love in the big city 2(2010).

On June 6, 2012, the premiere of the song “Insomnia” took place. In September 2012, the song “Love at a Distance” was released, a collaboration between Vera Brezhneva and DJ Smash.
On November 24, 2012, the premiere of the film “The Jungle” took place, in which Vera Brezhneva and Sergei Svetlakov played the main roles.
On April 16, 2013, the premiere of the song “Good Day” (music and lyrics by Vera Brezhneva) took place.
On January 14, 2014, the Internet release of the single “Good Morning”, written by Konstantin Meladze, took place.
On September 29, 2014, the premiere and official release of the new single “My Girl” took place, as well as the premiere of the video of the same name, directed by clip maker Alan Badoev.
In April 2015, Konstantin Meladze announced the release of the second studio album by Vera Brezhneva, which is called “Ververa”. The album was released on April 28th. It includes 14 compositions, most of which are already known to the public. A week before the release of the album, on April 21, the single “Mommy” was released in support of it, authored and produced by Konstantin Meladze.
On October 6, 2016, Vera gave a big solo concert “Number 1” in Kiev, at the National Palace of Arts of Ukraine.
On June 11, 2024, the premiere of the mini-album “V.” took place.
In 2024, in collaboration with Dmitry Monatik, she released a song in Ukrainian for the first time.
Family bonds. Vera’s real surname is Galushka. Mom worked at a metallurgical plant in Dneprodzerzhinsk, her father worked at a chemical plant. In addition to Vera, they have two more daughters, the youngest. One of them, Victoria, in December 2007 married a famous showman, actor, and now Deputy General Director of the Russian First Channel, Alexander Tsekalo, the marriage lasted until 2018.
Vera has a daughter Sonya (born 2001), whose father is Vitaliy Voichenko.
In November 2006, Vera married Ukrainian businessman Mikhail Kiperman and changed her last name to Kiperman. On December 14, 2009, their daughter Sarah was born. In October 2012, she announced her divorce from her husband.
In October 2015, Vera married the composer and music producer Konstantin Meladze, the wedding took place in Italy with loved ones.
